The
Town Hall
 The
Municipal Palace, end 19th century work, in liberty style, arises
nearby the Mother Church and is framed by a double ramp liberty stairway
decorated by two towering statues.
Inside there are twi big paintings by the painter Giuseppe Sciuti
who was born in Zafferana. The biggest one, placed in the boardroom,
is an allegoric painting entitled “the well-being and the arts”;the
other one pictures Etna eruption of 1792 that threatened the built-up
area of Zafferana and formed a lava fall in the zone of the zone of
the Salto della Giumenta.
